Thank you for your assistance with updating the CommHub address in the Massachusetts Draeger Alcotest 9510 instruments. As referred to in the previous notification from December 2025, the breath test instrument server at the current Public Safety Data Center is being decommissioned on August 25, 2026. On that date, the new server for the breath test instruments at the Markley Public Safety Data Center will become operational allowing the instruments to continue to transmit breath test data to the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS).
We do not envision any long periods of outage; however, we do anticipate that there will be a short interruption as they cut over to the new server. Any data saved in the Draeger Alcotest 9510 instruments that has not transmitted during the downtime will send to the server once the cutover is complete. It is possible that you may need to restart your instrument to refresh the network connection. If you experience any other connection issues after that, please reach to OAT at OATnotifications@mass.gov or 857-377-3030. Thank you!
