MCOPA Members,
I’m asking for your help. The Jimmy Fund Walk is Sunday, October 4, and I hope you’ll sign up for Team Police Chiefs and encourage your officers, staff, families, and friends to join us.
This year, our Jimmy Fund Hero Match is Connor. I had the pleasure of meeting him at a recent Hero Match event; I’ve included a photo of us together. Please also take a minute to watch the attached video. You’ll see Connor enjoying a special flight and hear his message to the police chiefs supporting the Walk.
For Connor and the many families facing cancer, our support means more than a name on a team roster. It helps fund Dana-Farber’s work and reminds them that a whole community is standing with them.
The Jimmy Fund has been MCOPA’s main charity since 1953, and our members’ contributions are approaching $3 million. I would love to see chiefs from across Massachusetts help carry that commitment forward this year. Please register today, and share this invitation with the people in your department.

If you cannot walk, please consider supporting a team member or sharing the invitation. Every bit of help matters. Thank you for standing (and walking) with Connor and the Jimmy Fund.
In unity there is strength,
Chief Michael J. Bradley, Jr. (Ret.)
Executive Director
