New Forum – At-Risk Populations – Discussion and Information

Chiefs,

We have added a new discussion forum to the Mass Chiefs website focused on At-Risk Populations – Discussion and Information.

This forum provides members with a dedicated space to share news, ideas, programs, resources, and best practices related to enhancing community services and law enforcement interactions with individuals with Autism, Dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other cognitive disabilities.

Across Massachusetts, departments are developing innovative programs, building partnerships, providing specialized training, and using new tools to better serve at-risk members of their communities. We hope this forum will allow chiefs to learn from one another and share approaches that have been successful in their own departments.

Visit the At-Risk Populations Forum:

Members are encouraged to subscribe to the forum to stay informed as new information and discussions are posted. When participating in a discussion, members can also select “Notify me of follow-up replies via email” to receive email notifications when others respond.

Please use the forum to share programs, policies, training opportunities, community initiatives, helpful resources, legislative or regulatory updates, and successful partnerships with families, advocates, and service providers. It is also a place to ask questions and learn what other departments are doing across the Commonwealth.

Our goal is to make this a practical, member-driven resource. If your department has developed a program, resource, or approach that could benefit other agencies, please share it with your fellow chiefs.

Thank you for continuing to help us strengthen communication and collaboration across the Massachusetts law enforcement community.

Chief Michael J. Bradley, Jr. (Ret.)
Executive Director
