Help Shape the Next Massachusetts Strategic Highway Safety Plan
| MassSafe, in partnership with MassDOT, is seeking input from Massachusetts law enforcement officers and command staff to help guide the development of the next Massachusetts Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP). We have already heard from planners, engineers, advocates, and other transportation stakeholders. Now, we want to ensure law enforcement perspectives are represented. Please join us for a virtual Law Enforcement Listening Session to share your experiences, identify emerging roadway safety concerns, provide feedback on potential traffic safety initiatives (including automated enforcement), and discuss whether there are Massachusetts General Laws (MGLs) or other policy changes that could better support traffic enforcement. Whether your work focuses on patrol, crash investigation, traffic enforcement, supervision, or administration, your perspective is important.
